We stayed in some funky little cabins that were constructed for mill workers in the 1940s. The kids were hysterical (in that they were funny, not that they were literally in the grips of hysteria). They wanted to stay there forever. It's coming down steadily today, and Dylan is out building a snowman. He just asked me for a carrot for the nose. I sent him back out with his camera, so I will try to post documentation later. I think I like entertaining, and cooking when it's associated with entertaining. And I like food. But standing in the kitchen making things?                  I weighed and  measured the boys this morning.

Conrad:

31 lbs (63rd percentile)

36.5" tall (64th percentile)



Dylan:

45 lbs (60th percentile)

47.5" tall (92nd percentile)



Then I ran the stats through this here gizmo. It  predicted that Conrad will be 6' at age 18 and Dylan will be 6'5".
I will be the shortest person in the house. And I'm 5'11".

Last year two chickadees built a nest in the house and laid three eggs, only one of which hatched. Two days ago we noticed a nuthatch inspecting the house and hopping in and out.
